L-S football to fans and subscribers via livestream on thecube.com. Dwight Beyer, the voice of the Hawks for many years on radio and most recently livestream, has retired and moved from the L-S area. But, with the help of volunteer commentators Shane Ehresman and Gerry Van Dyke, all eight regular-season L-S varsity football games will be aired live via thecube.com. The Hometown Press has invested in more video equipment this year, and Ryan McFarland has volunteered his expertise to video each game. All games will also be available for 30 days after the original air date. New this year, video only of JV football games will also be on thecube.com. “Last year, one particular game had over 1,200 viewers from all across the United States,” shared Faye Brand, Hometown Press publisher. “We are thankful for the coaches and school’s support of bringing video and audio to our fans and subscribers each Friday night.
